Refund policy

We want you to love your Maison Board. If it isn't right for you, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

• In its original condition — unused, unwashed, and free of damage
• Returned in its original packaging, including the inner protective insert, bowls, trays, and utensils
• Accompanied by proof of purchase

Original packaging is required. Our boards are solid acacia wood with porcelain components, and the original box is engineered to protect them in transit. Returns shipped in substitute packaging frequently arrive damaged, and we reserve the right to apply a reduction of up to 50% of the refund value for items that arrive damaged due to inadequate repacking.

How to start a return

Email us at maisonnoirco01@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll reply within one business day with a prepaid return shipping label — return shipping is on us.

Please do not ship a return back without contacting us first. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds

Once your return arrives at our warehouse, we'll inspect it and notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional billing cycle for the credit to appear on your statement.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at maisonnoirco01@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the item and the shipping box. We will send a replacement at no cost to you, or issue a full refund — your choice. You will not be asked to return a damaged item unless we specifically request it.

Natural variation in wood

Each Maison Board is made from solid acacia, a natural material. Variation in grain pattern, color, and tone between individual boards is a characteristic of the wood and is not considered a defect.

Care and exclusions

The Maison Board is hand wash only and is not dishwasher safe. Periodic oiling with a food-safe mineral oil is required to maintain the finish. Damage resulting from dishwasher use, prolonged water submersion, exposure to direct heat, or failure to maintain the finish is not eligible for return or refund.

• Gift cards
• Items marked as final sale at the time of purchase
• Items showing signs of use, including cut marks, staining, water damage, or oil treatment

Exchanges
